Each Female Driving Instructor must now clearly display their ADI (approved Driving Instructor) badge during a driving lesson. The badge will display a photo and the registration number of the Female Driving Instructor . The bage allows any pupil taking Driving Lessons with a Driving Instructor know if their Driving Instructor is qualified.

It is highly recommended to always seek the advice of a registered Driving Instructor before you decide to apply for your driving test. With the advice of a local Driving Instructor and plenty of practice between your Driving Lessons, you will greatly improve your chances of passing the driving test.
Preparation with your Driving Instructor is the key
Since the introduction of EDT Driving Lessons, you must now sit a miimum of 12 Driving Lessons for the car and 16 Driving Lessons for the motorbike if you have just received first learner permit. It is of no use waiting until the week of your driving test to begin taking Driving Lessons. It takes time to adjust to a different style of driving and to undo any bad driving habits. It does not matter if it is your first time or your tenth time to sit the driving test, your style of driving changes over time. If you have to make any adjustments or improvements to your driving style it can take you several weeks to become comfortable with new driving habits. The driving tester will know if you have half heartedly prepared for the test and will not pass you. The only person who knows if you are really ready to sit and pass the driving test is your Driving Instructor. Listen to your Driving Instructors advice. They will guide you through the correct driving test prodecures.
